Six up-and-coming athletes from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore and GB climbing team coach were brought together for an intensive training camp in Japan. The campaign strategy draws parallels with how JLL work with their clients. i.e. JLL provides world-class knowledge and advice, first rate facilities, funding and cutting-edge technology and data to understand how people live and move around cities and buildings.
These same elements were incorporated into the campaign and told through the emerging craze of sport climbing, which will make its debut in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The nine-part short-film series depicts the back story of each athlete in their own city, as well as their struggles and ambitions on their way to the top.
My role in this project was the art direction, design and production of the campaign key visuals which were used in various marketing assets from billboards, posters, banners (online and offline), websites, EDMs.
